The Products We Use
Zinc
Zinc has been used as a roofing material in mainland Europe for almost 200 years and is rapidly increasing in popularity all the time in the UK. It is very versatile and can be used on roof pitches from 5° to vertical without compromising its effectiveness.
Correctly installed, zinc can last for 100 years as it continuously repairs any scratches in the surface and is 100% recyclable. Available in natural, pre weathered and coloured finishes.
Copper
Copper has been used as a roof covering since the Romans used it on the Pantheon in 27 BC. It is a very malleable material and can be hand or machine formed to suit almost any roof design. Copper resists corrosion in any atmosphere, requires no maintenance and has an almost indefinite design life. The oftenly seen green patina finish develops in between 10 and 30 years depending on the environment.
Stainless Steel
A remarkably durable and versatile roofing material suitable for almost any environment or roof design which gives a crisp modern feel to any building. |
